A Hero’s Welcome for the OPF Chairman
Chairman Syed Qamar Raza arrived at Incheon Airport on April 3, where he was met with a vibrant reception by the PBA central cabinet. Led by Chairman Mudassar Ali Cheema, President Rahim Shah, and Vice Chairman Sabir Khan Khattak, the team presented floral bouquets before escorting the delegation to their hotel. The first evening concluded with an elaborate dinner hosted by Vice
President Haji Muhammad Kazim.
On the second day, the Chairman visited the PBA Central Office and Community Center. Mian Muhammad Shakeel, Head of the Central Executive Council, provided a detailed briefing on the association's efforts to bridge the gap between overseas entrepreneurs and the Pakistani government.

The convention officially commenced at 6:00 PM with a standing ovation for Chairman Syed Qamar Raza and Ambassador Moazzam Hussain Shah. The program included:
Government Initiatives: Chairman Syed Qamar Raza delivered a powerful keynote address, detailing the federal government's steps to resolve the grievances of overseas Pakistanis. He notably praised the South Korean convention as the "most organized" he had witnessed internationally.
Diplomatic Support: Ambassador Moazzam Hussain Shah lauded the economic contributions of the diaspora and discussed specific consular issues being addressed by the embassy.
Community Representation: Speakers including Umair Latif (Student Association President) and Raja Amir Iqbal presented proposals regarding the welfare of students and businessmen in the region.
Cultural Fusion and Unity
The event featured a unique Sufi dance performance by a Korean arts group, which received immense appreciation from the audience. A significant highlight was the high participation of women and children, a factor the OPF Chairman specifically commended as a sign of a strong, connected community.
The evening concluded with the presentation of a commemorative shield to Chairman Syed Qamar Raza. President Rahim Shah reiterated that the Pakistani community in Korea stands like a "leaden wall" in support of national interests. The convention was closed with prayers by Dr. Raza Qadri and chants of "Pakistan Zindabad."
